By accessing our websites — www.excelsispsychology.com.au and www.excelsispsychology.com (the “Site”) — or by booking or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. Nature of Services
Excelsis Psychology provides professional psychological services in line with the Psychology Board of Australia and the Australian Psychological Society (APS) Code of Ethics.
All psychologists are registered with AHPRA.
Services include therapy, diagnostic assessments, parent support, and educational resources.
Our services are not a substitute for emergency or crisis care. If you are in crisis, please call 000 or Lifeline 13 11 14.
2. Appointments, Fees & Rebates
Fees are payable at the time of service unless otherwise agreed.
Medicare and private health rebates may apply, but eligibility is not guaranteed.
Reports, assessments, or letters will only be released once fees are paid in full.
Therapy outcomes vary and cannot be guaranteed.
3. Cancellations and Non-Attendance
Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice (or non-attended) may incur the full session fee.
Exceptions may apply in cases of genuine emergency.
4. Minors and Consent
Services for children and adolescents under 18 years of age require the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
We may request written consent before commencing therapy or assessments with minors.
5. Telehealth Services
Telehealth (phone or video consultations) are provided under the same ethical and professional standards as face-to-face sessions.
Clients are responsible for ensuring a private, safe, and stable internet/phone connection.
Excelsis Psychology is not liable for disruptions caused by internet outages, software failures, or privacy breaches on the client’s side.
6. Assessments & Reports
Assessments and reports are conducted using professional, evidence-based tools.
Reports are prepared for the client or referring professional only.
We reserve the right to withhold reports where fees remain outstanding.
Reports represent professional opinion and cannot guarantee specific outcomes (e.g., school funding, NDIS eligibility).
7. Digital Resources & Online Courses
Digital resources (including booklets, downloads, and online courses) are for personal and family use only.
Resale, reproduction, or distribution without written permission is prohibited.
Refunds for digital products are only available where required under Australian Consumer Law.
Resources are intended for educational purposes only and do not replace professional psychological advice or therapy.
8. Privacy & Confidentiality
